The TYT TH-UV88 is a compact, economical Dual Band UHF / VHF analog for everyday use. With 200 channels and up to 5 watts of power, the UV88 is a great choice for VHF-UHF users who need the features and versatility of the popular Baofeng UV-5R, but with a more mature look, professional feel and greater durability.
The TH-UV88 has 200 programmable channels for 2m and 70cm frequencies. CTCSS / DCS and 1750 Hz dial tone. Other features include dual standby, FM radio, DTMF encoding/decoding. The UV88 also features a dot-matrix LCD display, built-in VOX (Voice Operated Transmit) for hands-free operation and a high-brightness lens.
The TYT TH-UV88 includes a rechargeable Li-Ion battery, belt clip, removable antenna, microphone, battery charger, AC adapter, owner's manual, and a one-year manufacturer's warranty from TYT.
