The ELM327 device offers an easy way to interface your car's brain via Bluetooth, using the OBD2 / OBD-II interface port that the majority of vehicles from 2000 onwards have. So, with the device connected and using a compatible program, such as Torque Lite available for free on the Android Market, or Rev available for iPod and iPhone, or a windows program of the many available, you will have full access to features you need.

Instructions for use:

Insert the device into your car's OBD-II port. In some car models, the engine needs to be running for the device to get power and work, which is when you will see the power indicator lights come on.

Through the menu of your mobile/computer, you select the Bluetooth settings and select the function of searching for Bluetooth devices.

After finding the device, select add and when prompted enter the code 1234 to pair the ELM237 with your mobile/computer.
