This year's Samsung flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S5 may have received some pretty harsh criticism with many saying it won't do well in sales, but according to reports, Samsung has shipped 10 million devices worldwide in just 25 days.

Of course the shipments are not identical to the actual sales, but it is still a record for the Korean giant and shows the demand that the device has.

Correspondingly last year, the Samsung Galaxy S4 reached the number of 10 million in 27 days. The Samsung Galaxy S3, S2 and S took 50 days, 5 months and 7 months respectively to reach 10 million.

It will be interesting to see if this year's flagship will finally succeed in surpassing the 40 million total sales of the Samsung Galaxy S4 which failed to surpass the 60 million of the S3.
